28/09: Communisis Selected by William Hill for Direct Marketing Contract
Communisis to provide innovative print services in support of
William Hill's customer marketing campaigns
Communisis plc, a leading provider of direct marketing and print solutions, is pleased to announce that it is has won a contract with William Hill, one of the best-known names in the gambling industry and an employer of over 14,000 people in the UK.
The contract will see Communisis work with William Hill's marketing division to streamline its direct marketing capabilities, covering aspects such as customer statements and internal communications. Communisis will also provide a series of value-added consulting services, further validating its strategy of improving the effectiveness of its clients' customer communications activity.
The contract was awarded to Communisis following a competitive tender process. Under the terms of the contract, Communisis will manage the sourcing, procurement and distribution of print for William Hill customer marketing activity, as well as offering tailored technology-led consulting services to help William Hill further reduce the cost and increase the effectiveness of its marketing programmes.
The agreement will run for three years starting in August 2009.
Announcing the contract award, Communisis Sales Director, Andy Blundell, commented:
